Counseling Individuals in Corona & Orange County Through Cancer or Illness

I primarily treat clients who are facing a life-altering illness, such as cancer, and those journeying through grief and loss. When a major medical diagnosis happens, everyone in the patient's life is affected. I use a "systems approach" with a focus on medical family therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients & families work through the immense challenges that come with illness. I also offer general counseling to anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse history, or difficulty with major life changes.

My approach is compassionate, empathetic, and accepting. Together, we can explore your strengths and help you learn how to utilize them to help you get through. I value educating and equipping my clients with the information, skills, and tools they need to grow into the person they imagine themselves to be. All individuals are welcome! I do virtual sessions for California residents and virtual/in-person sessions for locals in Corona, Norco, West Riverside, and East Orange County.

Duration

Your first two to three session will consist of an intake process to gather information about your presenting concerns and your relevant historical information. Sessions are conducted weekly and last for 45-50 minutes each.

Pricing

My employer, Institute of Advanced Studies, works on a sliding scale that is based on net household income. Our scale is affordable for most income levels.

Although we do not accept insurance as payment, we can provide you with a super bill so you can file a claim for reimbursement.
